 Joe Filippone Our Montgomery County Economic Development Authority Exec. Director is Joe Filippone. Joe has a BBA degree from Manhattan College and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He has extensive experience in executive level management with fortune 500 companies. He also holds Real Estate Licenses in both GA and FL. Under Joe's direction the Montgomery County Economic Development Authority is dedicated to providing county-wide Economic Development Services to benefit the citizens of Montgomery County. Our programs are designed to assist existing employers and also to attract new employers to our area. "Our Aim is to assist with Job Creation and Job Sustaining Projects". Our Mission: To promote economic growth and stability in Montgomery county. By supporting existing businesses, attracting targeted new businesses, and attracting corporate and/or regional headquarters. To recommend policies to Montgomery county Government that supports the achievement of planned economic growth. The Montgomery County Development Authority remains keenly aware of the importance of our natural environment. We appreciate our history and heritage and natural beauty of Montgomery County. It is our true desire to seek an appropriate balance between the winds of change and commercialization and the desire to preserve our natural environment.
